Magic Carpet Ride<\/p>\n

Whirling and dancing; it was a magic
\ncarpet ride. Mounting to the sun, the
\ncarpet twists and turns. Free!<\/p>\n

The carpet does its crazy dance,
\nblazing across the sky. The exhilaration
\nricochets through the body. Urging the
\ncarpet higher, wanting to be kissed by
\nthe Gods.<\/p>\n

Plummeting down down down; it’s a
\nroller coaster ride. There is no control.
\nThe Earth comes looming up; a crash
\nis moments away. Gone is the extreme
\nexhilaration; fear takes its place. The
\ncarpet laughs and soars to the sky.
\nDamn, that hash is good stuff.<\/p>\n

Shrooms<\/p>\n

The gate is crooked, but I don’t care.
\nDrifting and floating;
\na surreal world dances in my head,
\nPicasso art.
\nReason flees
\nwarmth stabs deep
\nugly worlds steal away.
\nMy mind is a placid lake.<\/p>\n

Gin<\/p>\n

A weeping moon struggles across a
\nblazing sky; dropping tears on giant
\nbedbugs. Torrents of purple water crash
\ndown a black arroyo. A ball of snakes
\nvie to see who can blow the biggest
\nbubble. Peanuts look like Limburger
\ncheese, and the mongoose says they
\ntastes like marshmallows. Mount Teton
\nis upside down standing on its point.
\nA flock of cockatoo’s crash to the ground;
\ntheir wings have turned to dust. Snow
\nburns brightly revealing surly faces. A
\nhideous monster smiles from the swamp.
\nIt is singing, “He’s a Jolly good fellow.”
\nAn ancient Aztec warrior guards the
\nsecret place where the west wind
\nsleeps at night.
\nDamn, this gin bottle is empty again.<\/p>\n
