\u00a0Aging<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is not time yet<\/p>\n

but let me imagine it,<\/p>\n

the shadows of the future<\/p>\n

caught me by surprise today<\/p>\n

so let me glide through them without restraints.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I foresee the wrinkles on my face,<\/p>\n

the dance of the years delineating something.<\/p>\n

Let me cherish the waves of white hair,<\/p>\n

the subtle hand on the paper<\/p>\n

not willing to be squelched,<\/p>\n

not expecting anything,<\/p>\n

not defacing the truth<\/p>\n

but rejoicing in it, embracing the light of time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The body carries the fragrance of the ocean,<\/p>\n

the coolness of \u00a0dew on the grass,<\/p>\n

the crimson petals of the flowers,<\/p>\n

a wisp of sunshine breaking out of a storm.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The body holds the stories of people,<\/p>\n

archetypes and broken dreams,<\/p>\n

winters and autumns,<\/p>\n

the mind molds its own spring<\/p>\n

through words and vivid images,<\/p>\n

the dance of the years<\/p>\n

shaping the meaning of them.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You could lock this body inside a shell,<\/p>\n

yet the darkness won\u2019t pierce it,<\/p>\n

you could quell its perceptions,<\/p>\n

yet it will keep skittering over its colors and reflections.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Scouting the paintings,<\/p>\n

the mind is busy,<\/p>\n

the entrails of the soul<\/p>\n

no longer need anything,<\/p>\n

a fraction of sky<\/p>\n

is enough to unravel the meaning of silence.<\/p>\n
