Dream bright like an ocean<\/p>\n

I find it hard some days to be me.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t choose to be broken, you see,<\/p>\n

but that scar and me, that scar and me.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re far from dreaming bright like an ocean faraway.<\/p>\n

I work everyday with no money to see,<\/p>\n

a want and need to fund my writing dreams.<\/p>\n

When I hold money, bills arrive.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re far from dreaming like an ocean faraway.<\/p>\n

I knew that unemployment was one step away.<\/p>\n

Oh, one step away.<\/p>\n

At first sight, consolidation would have put me on the street.<\/p>\n

I saw my life from the past, such hardship in one heartbeat.<\/p>\n

So, dream bright like an ocean.<\/p>\n

That scar and I.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re far from dreaming bright like an ocean faraway.<\/p>\n

I must survive, but am I alive?<\/p>\n

We\u2019re far from dreaming bright like an ocean faraway.<\/p>\n

With each hope, I feel energy erase the broken.<\/p>\n

I feel life rise in me once again.<\/p>\n
