Brogan Shoes by G. David Schwartz

Archive Original Lit Poetry

Brogan Shoes

Where can you go to purchase brogan shoes
Red and white ones that you use
To walk to the mud pile then walk right through
Which pair of brogans do you use?

Drive Right Out Of Town

You can go and you can get
Drive right out of town, think of it
You can go to Burleyville or Clarkston
Or to Porterville or even Galveston

A Suite Is Sweet

A suite is sweet
But a case T.V. is not a castle
and if you don’t have a map
Maybe you best not go

You Know They Make Clothes Out Of Wheat

You know they make cloth out of wheat
And close out of silk
They make tomatoes from the ground
And guess where they mask the milk
